Communities
“From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does it work”
Ephesians 4:16
We want everyone in our church community to be connected, growing in faith and purpose, and engaged in reaching others.
What are Communities?
Community Groups are our structure for group life during the week, they are an important place of connection, growth and mission.
We currently have three communities spread across Cheltenham, Communities have a monthly rhythm:
Eat together
Pray & worship together
Study together
Reach out together
This follows the pattern of Jesus’ life where he spent time with the Father, shared life with his disciples and reached those who didn’t know him.
Communities are led by men women with complementary gifts and skills, who share responsibility for shaping the life of the group. We love participation and so different group members will participate and lead at different times
